Ready, Fire, Aim.



Errr, surely you mean Ready, Aim Fire?


Well, no, actually.


I am a huge fan of business guru Tom Peters and am currently wading my way through his latest book The Excellence Dividend.


In it he discusses the concept of Ready, Fire, Aim… in effect getting a product or service to market fast and refining it later.


It is a similar concept to The MVP or Minimum Viable Product promoted by Eric Ries in his book The Lean Start Up.


And, in the fast-paced world we live in, it makes a lot of sense.


Now, if you are developing a new pacemaker or passenger jet, I’d say ignore all of the above.


But if you have an idea you have been chewing over for a while, unsure whether it will work, why not just Ready, Fire, Aim?
